Image props to mynorthwest.com!

4 months ago we posted about the emergence of a new microbrewery in Seattle: The Emerald City Beer Company. The time has come, my friends and Emerald City is officially opening in just under two weeks!

This new brewery lives and operates out of the Rainier’s old stomping ground, 3100 Airport Way S. After only ever seeing this colorful building from the streets or highway, I am excited to get to see where beer began in Seattle first hand and get my first taste of Dottie.

On September 25, 2010 from 2PM-8PM join us in welcoming a new craft brewer to the community. As the promo flyer says: Beer, Brats and Band. The three B’s are all you need to be successful in this world!

$4.00 pints of Dottie, which is described as a lager and $4.00 Dottie Brats. Cash only so come prepared! Hope to see you there! Can’t make the event or just can’t wait to taste Emerald City’s beers? Don’t fret! Currently Dottie is on tap at about 9 venues in Seattle- click here to find out where to go to get a pint.
